Exploring New Technology in the Renewables Sector
Building knowledge and continuing to provide the best products to its customers has been a driving factor for Wiremarkers® Australia. This month, Wiremarkers® Australia General Manager, Jarryd Crampton is heading to Intersolar in the USA to see the latest in technology serving the solar industry.
Intersolar is one of the biggest solar exhibitions in the world, with hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of delegates from around the world. It’s where leading technology in the renewables space is explored, and new ideas are shared.
Jarryd explains why attending these types of events is so valuable.
“I’m always listening to our customers and finding out what their pain points are to source or create products to help solve them. Solar and renewable energy will continue to grow into the future. I’m determined for Wiremarkers® Australia to keep innovating and bringing the best the world has to offer to our Australian and New Zealand customers,” said Jarryd.
The pressure put on businesses through increased labour costs is being felt in many industries, and Jarryd knows any product that will make a task more efficient is attractive to customers.
“We already stock a number of products that save customers time, and I’m keen to see what else is on the market we may also be able to stock. Any quick install product will be of interest to me, and I'm sure the wider renewables market.
“We’ve found our own patented 4 wire Smart Clips to be 37 per cent faster to use than standard cable ties. This has made them very popular in the solar industry. The quick installation time is just one benefit of these clips. They’re also built to last from 304 grade stainless steel and are designed to have a strong hold without damaging the cable,” said Jarryd.
Wiremarkers® Australia is the exclusive seller of MAX printers and consumables in Australia and New Zealand. These products are tested to the highest quality standard and consistently outlast and outperform their competitors.
The Stainless Solar Tags created in the Wiremarkers® Australia Queensland workshop have a lifespan of more than 40 years, meaning once they’re fixed they don’t need to be replaced any time soon. This quality gives solar farm owners peace of mind when building, repairing and expanding their operations.
Jarryd is looking forward to seeing what new products will be available to the industry in cable management, labelling, signage and tagging.
“Intersolar is a great opportunity for us to build new partnerships with those who are innovating in the industry, as well as learn more about problems faced which in turn may assist in our own research and development projects. I’m looking forward to learning what everyone has been doing over the last few years. I suspect that during the downtimes of coronavirus and lockdowns, a lot of innovation has taken place, which will be exciting to see,” said Jarryd.
